Auto-tracking is broken - it's time for a new approach
Product teams risk the failure of capturing critical events and insights because of the engineering effort involved or plain lack of foresight. Auto-tracking (aka autocapture) has been offered as a solution to this problem. In this post, we will argue why auto-tracking has largely failed to deliver on its “codeless analytics” promise and explore whether it is still relevant.
